Gather round, music fans! We’re premiering the latest video for “Red Stops Traffic” from Jocelyn & Chris Arndt, aka the “next gen” of rock x blues grooves.
Song Title: Red Stops Traffic
Director: David Bourgeois
Label: Bridge Road Entertainment
The track is off the band’s latest album “Go,” a blend of bold rock anthems and moody blues tunes feverishly written and recorded in a span of 6 months. Going retro, the band recorded the vid on an old high school stage and at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah (a site well-known for car racing and land speed records). “We really wanted the video to fit the vibe of the song: desperate, emotional, searching, says Jocelyn. “Red Stops Traffic” is definitely one of the darkest tracks off of “Go.” We took a risk, but I think we really captured those feelings visually with this video.”
“Red Stops Traffic” is an addicting track (one of our favs, really) and an awesome follow up to the first single off of “Go,” titled “Footprints on the Moon.” “Footprints” was Billboard’s #4 Most Added Triple A Radio Single in the US. “Go” also held the #2 Position on The Relix Jambands Top 30 Album Chart for three consecutive months. “Red Stops Traffic” is currently #46 on The Billboard AAA Charts, and if the band’s touring and recording schedule is any indication, there’s no stopping that climb any time soon.
So what’s next for the sibling rockers / ski hounds? Not ones to shy away from risk, Jocelyn and Chris continue to create music on their own terms. Jocelyn recently turned down an offer from Fox Television to appear on their new 2018 series “The Four”, opting instead to continue to write and tour with her brother and their band. And Chris, well, he gets to deal with the craziness that comes with being a 21 yo “majoring in rock and roll” at Harvard. Chris considers being able to tour a blessing. “It was the best possible way for me to grow up,” he said. “And I’m still growing.”
