2016 has been a big year for EDGEtv Network, a year of growth and learning. But mostly, this has been a year of gratitude.

We are grateful to be a part of the adventure sport and music community, to provide a place for athletes and creatives to come together and share the stoke.

We asked our influencers what they were most stoked about accomplishing in 2016 and/or what they are most stoked about for 2017.

Check out their replies below which are as unique as their smiling faces. To all of our influencers, followers, and fans: Thank You for helping to create this rad community.

‘Preciate you.

“I am most thrilled that I hosted 7 amazing surf, yoga, and adventure retreats around the globe. Each one had great surf and a major giveback component in which we helped the lives of several families in need with supplies, clean water, and gifts.
“I am so excited about the New Year and what it has to bring. Health, travels, and great swells for everyone!”

“[I’m most stoked about] bring Seeking Nirvana to life. With the help of EDGEtv and our crew, we put out something way above my expectations and I couldn’t be happier with it.”

“2017: Looking forward to continuing our success moving into Season 2, starting with a trip to Japan with an all time crew. It’s going to be a trip of a lifetime!”

“I’m most stoked in 2016 with all the culture I experienced. Becoming more plural brings me more balance. And this amazing year I had the chance to face my biggest challenges in life. Most I succeeded at, some not. Taking the defeats is a huge motivation for changes. Grateful for all the pathways.”

“I’m most stoked in 2016 with my first base jump. After 1500 jumps from airplanes, I was blessed to be on the edge of Kjerag, Norway to jump off it.

“About 2017 I definitely will be most stoked to travel for one year with my better half, Natalia,  around the globe.”

“I was most stoked in 2016 with the opportunity to travel the world in the biggest cruise ship in the world performing in a show. Trying to living the dream is unbelievably good, but when it really happens, there is no better feeling. My life has been my dream for 6 years straight.

“For 2017, I’m excited to start the cruise and the travel, to continue my search for culture and people around the world, and to keep spreading out my stoke and my love for living and learning with other peoples. Love the life you live, live the life you love!”

“2016 was a wild year! Apart from collaborating with some amazing outdoor clients and brands, I explored the Canadian Badlands region and discovered more about my true self from being immersed into other cultures.

“2017 will be a year to showcase discoveries and push exploration further and higher. I have an amazing opportunity to kick off 2017 as I got invited to be a TED speaker at TEDxCanmore on January 20th in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. Stoked for ’17!”

“The most stoked I was in 2016 was the reward I felt after conquering “Fisistock,” a wingsuit BASE jump in Switzerland. This jump was so rewarding because it was the first high alpine jump I ever did, and was the culmination of several years of training. Not to mention it involved climbing over 1900 metres of vertical to access the exit point!

“For 2017 I am excited to learn how to paraglide, as well as visit some new countries (tbd), meet new people and catch up with old friends around the world!”

“My most stoked moment of 2016 was definitely onsighting the 190m (623′) highline at the Squamish Highline Festival. It is my biggest highline/slackline send, and it was on my first try. Couldn’t imagine anything sicker!”

Happy New Year!
