Ah, July. A month for hot grills, cold brews, and talking story with buddies at the beach.
We caught up with EDGEtv contributor and Patagonia surf ambassador Mary Osborne fresh back from a giveback trip to Panama in partnership with Project Save Our Surf, Give & Surf, and Adventure Sports Tours. With nineteen teenage volunteers all hiking, surfing, and building schools for the indigenous communities of Bocas del Toro, the eight-day trip was “madness but good!”
To top off an already awesome trip, Mary also got word her short documentary “Offshore” (produced by Compass Coalition) was selected to screen at the Patagonia Santa Monica Film Fest. Outside Online called the film “the perfect escape.” Sure, leading the Panama giveback trip meant Mary had to miss the screening, but Mary kinda has this habit of going where the surf takes her… which is currently Ventura, California where she just kicked off her annual summer surf camps.
