“A tiny pixie like girl who giggles while, or directly after, doing ridiculous balance moves in precarious places.
She loves to sing and highline, and play in handstands! Conditioning is her friend and highlining is her bed.”

What are you looking for in a Network?

Support, promotion, advice, potential job.

What events do you attend?

I attend Wanderlust across the nation, Wanderlust 108’s , slackline and highlining festivals in the US and one in Squamish, BC, Canada. I also will be attending and teaching at Slackline Yoga at local yoga festivals.

Who do you look up to in your profession and why?

In highlining I look up to so many people, and I am lucky to say many of them are my friends! I look up to Marshell Thompson, my best friend, because even though he has had some major issues with injure, surgeries, depression, and so on, he still manages to pick himself back up and keep going! Now he isn’t the best highline walker I have ever met but he is damn good at walking longlines! Spencer Seabrooke is someone else I look up to. He is strong and powerful, daring and wacky but he always stays humble. He has the world record for longest free solo highline, that being at 200 ft. long, and I just find that positively insane but so inspiring! Also I have been around while he has said very inspirational words of advice, summing up to say, “Slacklining isn’t a competition, it isn’t for others. It is for yourself. We don’t pursue this sport to be the best, we do it for the beauty, the beauty of finding balance in precarious places”. these are my words and not his but either way he inspires me with his energy, leadership, and drive. Just to name a few more: Dany Smith, Ryan Robinson, Andy Lewis, and so on.

In yoga I look up to Nicole Hall. Nicole owns her own yoga studio and started teaching HipHop yoga in Tulsa Oklahoma! I think that is just wonderful! I do not personally want to do exactly what she has done but she inspires me to be myself and to take yoga and make it my own. She encourages me to teach what I like and to practice what I am passionate about. I like the way she teachers and how she is so different from the classic yogic instructor and she gives me permission to be myself and teach to my specialties. Plus I LOVE her HipHop yoga classes and I want to take her HipHop Yoga Teacher Training!

Do you create/co-produce your own video content?

I am currently working on a slackling video documentary but I do most of the rigging and performing and my friend does the video editing. I am learning how to video edit! 🙂

Do you play video games?

Nope 🙂 … except the occasional game cube, or Nintendo 64 Mario cart, sonic, and stuff.

Do you belong to any charities or non-profits, do volunteer work?

Not at the moment

What are the top 5 brands you’d like to work with?

Red Bull, 360 fly, Tentsile, Balance Community and ProBar
