Devastatingly powerful vocals driven by full-throttle, retro-rock guitar: Meet sibling rockers Jocelyn and Chris Arndt.

  • So many! We try to listen to a little bit of everything we can get our hands on. Some permanent fixtures on our playlist: Grace Potter (and the Nocturnals), Led Zeppelin, ZZ Ward, Pink Floyd, Queen, Janis Joplin, the Beatles, and an endless bunch of others.
  • Skiing for Jocelyn and Snowboarding for Chris. Sometimes our sports really do bring us to the Edge. Earlier this year when we were in Utah to perform at Sundance we hit Snowbird for a day of riding and skiing. For some reason, Chris decided to ignore the big red signs that said “Warning Cliffs Ahead”… It ended up being sort of a combination of skiing and snowboarding mixed with rock climbing. Crazily enough, I think we’d all do it again!
“We’re sibling team, we tour everywhere, and we play original, big-voice, guitar-heavy, blues-infused rock, specially formulated to knock your socks off.”

What are you looking for in a Network?

Excitement. Watching people do things that most people only wish they could do: extreme sports, adventure travel, and full throttle music with no room for apologies. Chances are, if it makes you say something along the lines of “DAMN that’s cool”, we’ll be watching, or maybe even participating!

What events do you attend?

We’re big into festivals and concerts. Being musicians gets us some great perks! We’ve performed at The Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah (and of course we got in a day of skiing and riding, because, like, Utah… duh), we’ve taken the stage at The Mountain Jam Music Festival with bands like Grace Potter and Gov’t Mule, and we’ve eaten way too much pizza while in NYC doing five performances at this year’s CMJ Music Marathon. But regardless of what else is going on, we always make it to the annual Warren Miller Ski Movie Premiere. It’s become a family tradition, and we wouldn’t miss it for anything!

Who do you look up to in your profession and why?

We look up to all the great performers–Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, even bands like Metallica, who are pretty far removed from our style. We make it our job to study the greats, because we’re always looking to be better, and learning from them helps us do that.

Do you create/co-produce your own video content?

Absolutely, and it’s a blast! We work super closely with our management and creative team and we are brainstorming ideas all the time. Being involved makes everything we do more genuine and we think that really connects with viewers. We also always try to get our fans involved! We love to hear what people want to see.

Do you play video games?

If it’s video games for us, we prefer keeping it retro. We’re talkin’ Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and Legend of Zelda. The N64 is one of humanity’s greatest creations.

Do you belong to any charities or non-profits, do volunteer work?

Definitely! We think giving back to the community is a really important thing to do. In high school, we started our own community service initiative called Depend On Music to get elementary and high school students interested in music and the arts, which has been a huge part of our lives. This year, I (Jocelyn) also started volunteering with an organization called Stories for Orphans, which pairs writers and illustrators together to create personalized books for orphaned kids. I love writing to begin with, whether it’s lyrics, poems, or stories, so it’s been a great way to help kids in a creative way.
