EDGEtv Influencer, Moss Halladay, Field Testing the Ignite 4K

So there are plenty of user-friendly adventure cameras on the market that make it easy to document your every last shred session on land, sky, and sea.  Tornado Tech’s Ignite 4K Camera, while equally user-friendly as other cameras, also offers something more for the photographer looking to use more tech features and connect with his/her inner nerd.

The concept of the Ignite 4K is to offer an affordably-priced waterproof sports action camera that is high quality, ready to use, and offers the latest features, backed by superior customer service and a 1-year warranty.

MSRP is $219.00 and includes a 16GB Micro SD class 10 memory card, 13 mounting accessories, a 30-meter (98 feet) waterproof case, and a remote control.

The LCD back-lit front screen and 2″ back screen allows you to see the action as you capture.

The included Mini USB cable makes it easy to transfer videos and photos to your computer to use with most video editing software.

EDGEtv influencer and snowboarder/photographer extraordinaire, Moss Halladay, put the Ignite 4K to the test in his local Tahoe backcountry during a bomber season opener.  “It’s really easy to use,” he said.  “If you know how to use a GoPro, then you can use this for sure.”  He also said that the Dual Front OLED + 2″ HD LCD screen, “is super helpful as well.”
“So far the battery life has been good,” he said.  “It was cold today and I didn’t cycle through the full battery, so that’s good.”

Two EDGEtv team members also took the Ignite 4K for some test driving in swimming pools and to the Santa Monica Pier.  They both were impressed by the ease of operation and all the cool doodad accessories.
Bottom Line:  If you’re looking for a camera that doesn’t take you out of the fun and action, the Ignite 4K is the solid choice.  Happy shooting!
