Goran Toprek born in 1980, from Belgrade, Serbia. Producing electronic music since the DOS era.In the mid till late 90’s, he started creating music in fasttracker, producing his first electronic tracks. Selftought, he struggled in the beginning but the persistance started to pay of after a long struggle.
After graduating as an audio engineer mastering, mixing and producing for others as well as himself was a regular day job. Producing mostly trance music and touring the world he gathered expirience and stamina for what is to come.

  • Tried surfing almost died, better to leave me making music than skydiving.

“I have been making electronic music for over 19 years, and have never had a job outside of the music industry. I have been able to support myself in this banana republic of a country due to the internet and my determination. Took me over 5 years to release my first track.”

What are you looking for in a Network?

To share with the United States our creative culture and lifestyle. I belong to a close-knit creative DIY community consisting of globally recognized music producers, videographers, photographers & multimedia artists.

What events do you attend?

I rarely attend events as a guest, as I’m usually the one working the party. Outside of music production, I have performed countless international festivals. Music has taken me everywhere from Japan, to Brazil, to Turkey…

Who do you look up to in your profession and why?

I’m always listening to latest trendsetters in EDM, and prefer listening to the artists bringing innovative sound to the table.

Do you create/co-produce your own video content?

With an affordable budget, Wake’s and my connections, we can write and produce an entire 45min – 1hr investigative documentary about Serbia’s underground creative scene. We have access to a high caliber production team, writers and access to everything from a Redcam to Arri Mini. Tell Wake to send you a portfolio of our go-to director’s work.

Not so often anymore, too busy working.
